Hey Greg! Thanks for the detailed response and questions! We love hearing back from readers.

1. Why don't we include exercise? Of course exercise is an important part of any lifestyle but there's only so many pages in any book. We definitely support a consistent exercise regiment and are huge fans of Equinox Fitness in NYC. However, the book focuses on food as medicine and nutrition as a health tool. However, if you know anyone who would like to do a guest blog on fitness, it'd be a great idea to include that as well, it's just not our primary focus at this time. We wanted to get the diet area covered first :)

2. It is a good diet for men. The cover can be a bit misleading in that department and we hope it doesn't deter you from reading! Just check out our recent post about people gearing up for their high school reunions, all three are male. In fact, High School Reunion Diet isn't a diet (in the traditional sense) as much as a re-education on nutrition. If you follow the principles in the book then you can adapt it to any lifestyle. And yes, you can get enough calories (and more) following the advice in High School Reunion Diet.

3. Eggs are great for you! A good source of protein and more. Some of our recipes include various nutritional aspects in them including different veggies and fruits. That way you'll get tons of whole foods which are jam packed with a variety of vitamins and nutrients. The omelet is just one example of how to use eggs- not the only one. Do you have any other good egg recipes that follow the nutrition tips in our book? If so, we'd love to post them!

If all of your questions were not answered here feel free to email us anytime for clarification - sm@nydg.com

Thanks again Greg, hope to see you back soon.

I would say this is a poor choice due to saturated fat and calories.
Question on your book- why don't you include exercise?
Also,is it a good diet for men? Enough calories? It seems geared toward women from the cover.
And I noticed in the book you say eggs are good but then include a recipe for an egg white omlette? Don't get that.
Thanks!
