We’ve heard that red wine can help increase heart health. Is it true?
According to studies, absolutely. There are a few great things in wine that will improve health if you keep your head and always drink moderately. One of them is resveratrol.
“Resveratrol might be a key ingredient in red wine that helps prevent damage to blood vessels, reduces “bad” cholesterol and prevents blood clots.” – MayoClinic
There’s resveratrol in white wine also, just not quite as much. Either way, wine is a healthful drink and improves your enjoyment of food if limited to one to two glasses.
