Basic Spiky Vinaigrette
For six weeks and beyond, star pupils on the HSR Diet eat a luscious salad for lunch, beautifully dressed, of course.

Today’s Special: Basic Spiky Vinaigrette
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1-2 Tbs. red-wine or balsamic vinegar, or fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 Tbs. minced shallots, or 1 clove garlic, mashed
coarse Kosher salt, to taste
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
pinch of red pepper flakes, crushed
Prep
Use a chilled bowl and a wire whisk to briskly combine all ingredients.
Drizzle liberally on your daily salad.
