Ford Model Dara T’s Diet Tips

Dara Tomanovich is a Ford model and the face of Olay Regenerist. She’s currently doing a Marks and Spencer campaign for its London stores. All the while she keeps in shape with her “flat-stomach pre-shoot diet that is High School Reunion Diet compatible!”
Here it is, exactly how Dara does it:
“The day before a big shoot I want to eat foods that lean my midsection out in a healthy way. I call it my Model-To-Go program. The day before the shoot I drink one glass of water or herbal tea every few hours. I space out my meals and here they are:
- Breakfast is steel cut oatmeal with Agave Nectar.
- Then 30 minutes on the Stairmaster at regular speed, and next a quick steam. I walk or take the subway around NYC for any errands to keep my metabolism revving (no cabs!).
- My first snack is celery with organic almond butter.
- For lunch, a can of water-packed tuna with whole chickpeas and chopped tomatoes, pepper, and a light olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Just mix it all in a wooden bowl, chill in the fridge for 5 minutes and its ready to go.
- Late afternoon pilates class to elongate, tighten and tone. Later a movie to relax.
- Dinner is a small piece of salmon lightly cooked and served with Udo Oil and a few drops of balsamic served on romaine lettuce.
- No alcohol. 9 hours of sleep
- 15 minutes on the treadmill in the morning with only Greek Yogurt and raspberries for breakfast.
- Carry almonds as my energy food all throughout the shoot and skip any big meals until we are done, being careful to hydrate every few hours.
- I apply Rodin Olio Lusso to add some glow to my face– and tummy if we are doing lingerie. It always works and it’s right from the High School Reunion Diet.
